The King And The Beggar

Once upon a time a country was ruled by a king who had no son to succeed to the throne since the king was getting old he wanted to make a decision on an appropriate successor to rule the country the king sent out notices throughout his country the notice has invited every qualified young man within the country for an interview with the king the results of the interview would decide a possible successor to the throne the only real qualification for the candidate was that they have to possess immense love for his or her fellow kith and kin every young man across the country was very excited at the prospect of being the ruler of the country a poor young man from a distant village also read.

The notice and commenced to rearrange for an interview with the king the person was a form man a hard-working man but he was very poor thanks to various circumstances the person had no good clothes to be presentable within the sight of the king that the young man worked really hard and saved some money to buy for him proper clothes and supplies to support him for the long journey to the palace after he got his supplies and a proper attire for the interview the young man began on his quest.

He travelled many days and had almost completed the journey when he found a poor beggar by the side of the road the poor beggar said trembling within the cold covered only in tattered rags the beggar extended his arms and pleaded for help his weak voice croaked I'm hungry and cold please help me sir the young man was so moved by the pathetic condition of the beggar that he immediately stripped his new attire and offered it to him he also provided him along with his very limited food he had carried for the journey the bagger thanked the person a thousand times but since the person had given up his good clothes to the beggar.

He was a little amount hesitant to travel for the interview he however gathered enough courage to enter the palace in his old dirty clothes upon his arrival at the palace the King's attendant showed him the thanks to the great Hall after a quick rest to clean off the journeys grime the person was admitted to the throne room for the interview the young man bowed low because the King entered the space when he raised his eyes he gasped in astonishment as he noticed that the King looked very rather like the beggar.

He had met on the way the King saw the shock within the man's eye and said yes, I wont to be the beggar you met on your way but why did you dress up kind of a beggar you are a king well why did you're doing this to me the young man stammered after gaining some composure because I had to form certain that you had an honest heart and you genuinely loved your fellow men said the king I knew that if I came to you as a king you'd have done anything to impress me but that way I would never have known what's truly in your heart the generosity and wish to the one in need without expecting anything reciprocally is that the sign of an honest heart viewing your love generosity towards the beggar man prove that you just simply just sincerely love your fellow persons this country needs a frontrunner who would work for the welfare of all of the nation not just people that would offer and cater to the throne you have got proven that you just simply just simply are the correct person to be my successor promised.
